Ball Jamming Prize Pack Giveaway

I have a big favor to ask. It’s a simple favor and in exchange you will be entered to win an awesome giveaway sponsored by Ball Canning & Recipes.

All you have to do is answer one simple question and I’ll get to the details in a moment.

You may have noticed during this past summer Ball introduced a new product that is going to revolutionize the world of jam and jelly making.

Enter the

Ball® FreshTECH Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker

Ball Jam and Jelly Maker

Image Source FreshPreserving.com Ball Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker

As it is and has been for many, many years when making a batch of jam or jelly you must stand over the stove, stirring and timing to cook each batch you make. If your batch is not cooked for the proper amount of time with the proper amount of pectin the biggest problems a home preserver can face is a runny batch of jam or jelly.

That in its-self is not a huge tragedy. Most of the time you can still eat and enjoy the jam or jelly but it will drip and slide off whatever you are eating it on. It can also be a big disappointment after spending the money and investing the time it takes to make a batch of jam or jelly.

Getting that perfect set is what makes a batch of jam or jelly a success.

Being able to spread a thick spoonful of fresh made jam on a piece of warm toast or a biscuit, without having to wear most of it down the front of your shirt is what makes it all worth it in my opinion.

With the Ball® FreshTECH Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker  (affiliate link) the guesswork is taken out of the picture.

You can have a perfect batch of jam or jelly in just 30 minutes. Simply add your ingredients and walk away. That’s it. Put your jam or jelly in your prepared Ball canning jars and process in a hot water bath and your done.

The good folks at Ball have developed 32 variations of 10 jam or jelly recipes just for the Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker.

There are three types of recipes available on the Fresh Preserving site for the Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker depending on your sugar needs, Full Sugar, Low or Reduced Sugar and No Sugar.

Currently these recipes are

  • Apple Jelly
  • Berry Jam
  • Grape Jelly
  • Peach Jam
  • Pear Jam
  • Pepper Jelly
  • Plum Jam
  • Pomegranate Jelly
  • Strawberry Jam
  • Sweet Cherry Jam

Ball would love some input from my readers in developing some new recipe flavors and or fruit combinations for the Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker.

At the beginning of November they will compile the suggestions that you make here in the comments on my blog and run a poll on their Facebook page.

Based on the top picks in the poll they will be formulating new recipes for the Ball® FreshTECH Automatic Jam & Jelly Maker.

Isn’t that exciting!

And just for helping Ball out you are going to be entered to win this Jamming Prize Pack Giveaway.
