Back To School 2012
Summer is almost over and it’s time to think about heading back to school. The summer has flown by in a blink of an eye. Where did the time go?
The first day of school is August 8th this year! I need to get a move on it so I have a day of shopping planned for next week.
I picked up a couple of things last week when I was at Walmart but I still have lots to buy. We haven’t gotten a school supply list yet since my daughter is in high school and each teacher will hand out a list at open house.
Before open house I usually pick up the obvious supplies like Elmer’s glue sticks, markers, pens, pencils, folders and binders.
Matter of fact I go a bit crazy when it comes to the glue sticks because they are so cheap during the back to school sales.
I buy plenty to have on hand for school and craft projects all year-long. I have one of those big plastic containers that will slid under the bed. I keep all the school supplies I buy in it so we never have to run around trying to figure out where I put the extra supplies I picked up while they were on sale.
Check out the information by clicking on the photos. Elmers has this great 1st Day of School app for android or iphone so you can share your child’s first day of school with friends and relatives near and far.
As I get ready to do my Back to School shopping I like to look through back to school guides and make a list before I go shopping. That way I know what I am going to buy.
Check out the Back to School Guide below. It is chock-full of info on getting ready for the upcoming school year.
You can also read how “Real Mom” experts share inside scoop on products, coupons, deals, and go-to resources for back to school shopping.

Is your kid’s school a uniform school? Up until my daughter started high school last year she had to wear a uniform. It made life so much easier. Check out the Back To School guide to see where you can buy great priced uniforms. Worried about the cost of shipping while shopping online for school uniforms?
There’s no reason to worry you can find great prices on the uniforms and a $5 flat rate shipping on all orders. I love this online children’s clothing store. I recently made a purchase there myself and couldn’t have been happier with my purchase.
I don’t know who is more excited about back to school shopping, my daughter or I.
Of course she loves to buy new clothes but I can get downright giddy when I find a great deal on markers and pens.
Have you started your back to school shopping yet? Do you get as excited as I do over the great prices on glue, paint pens, and markers?
