Pinterest Board of the Week Awesome Cakes
This weeks board of the week is my Awesome Cakes board. I may be obsessed with this one because I am so bad at cake and cookie decorating.
I had a major cake fail back in April. Why is it that whenever you want something to turn out perfect it seems that everything possible will go wrong. That cake fail never made it to the blog. Although I think there are some pictures floating around somewhere.
You see I was making a rainbow smash cake for my youngest granddaughter Addison’s 2nd birthday. The cake portion turned out great but my icing just wouldn’t thicken and kept running down the side of the cake.
Addison still loved it and really that’s all that mattered.
