Strawberry Vanilla Orange Yogurt Ice Pops
One of my favorite family recipes is homemade yogurt ice pops.
Ice pops are so simple to make. Throw some ingredients into a blender and liquify. Pour into molds and freeze. The hardest part is judging the amount of ingredients to use to make just enough to fill your ice pop molds. This recipe will exactly fill four ice pop molds like you see in the picture below.
Although the height of strawberry season has passed down here in Florida strawberries can be had almost every month of the year.
I pay close attention to where the strawberries are grown when I am buying them after the flush of fresh strawberries hit the grocery stores here in February and March when I am making any of my strawberry recipes.
I buy local when I can. The orange I used for this recipe was picked fresh from the tree the day I made this recipe.

Ingredients
juice from one orange about 1/4 cup
1 cup of plain yogurt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 - 3 tablespoons sugar
3 medium strawberries
1/2 scraped vanilla bean
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender
- Blend until combined
- Pour into ice pop molds and freeze over night
